PKD soundtracks...Valis, Leverage

Was recently contacted by Aaron Sheppard, a guitarist and fellow PKD fan. He had some nice things to say about the psychic enemies network album valis. Listening to his album Leverage, I thought readers here might appreciate his work, so I thought I would pass it along. Makes a nice contrast/companion to valis

Thanks! Being a huge Philip K. Dick fan myself (just re-read The Three Stigmata Of Palmer Eldritch)since I was like 17, 18 I'm sure I'm going to like this:)

Speaking of PDK I can really recommend the books of English SF writer Richard Morgan!

Don't think I have read Morgan...will have to check it out. In the same vein I like Rudy Rucker and Micheal Bishop (try "Phillip K. Dick is Dead, Alas", but his other stuff that I've read is also quite good). Currently reading the Exegesis...

I've heard about PKD is dead, alas never heard about Rudy Rucker. One of the shitty things about living in Indonesia is the in-availability of books, it sucks big time as I am an avid reader, every now and then I get lucky and find something nice in one of the two second hand bookshops we have here (found a very nice Jack Vance last week and a Fritz Leiber)but I'm writing it down!!!

Re-read the unbelievable Hyperion series from Dan Simmons a while ago, those books are just amazing....

Morgan's books are pretty hard-core, I can really recommend all of them, specially Black Man, his Noam Chomsky inspired Market Forces and he's written some pretty impressive fantasy books, The Steel Remains and a second volume that I haven't read yet....

I've been an avid SF reader from an early age, so many great books, all of PKD of course, Phillip Jose Farmer's River World Series, Willam Gibson, the list just goes on and on:)
